Virginia Ochoa + Nay Tayshon

our main pompom artisans

Virginia Ochoa and Nay Tayshon are a young artisan family in Cusco, Peru. They make all possible pompom styles for their small pompom wholesale business. They are excited to be pom'd pompom makers because their beautiful work can be shared outside their home country of Peru. Each pom'd sale supports their family business and contributes to adding a roof over their workshop.

Yenny + Ruben

natural poms - Yenny bags

Yenny and Ruben are from Chinchero, Peru and have two loving sons. Yenny is a dedicated artisan and Ruben is a driver. Ruben also helps out with Yenny’s poms and textile work - it was actually Ruben’s idea for the family to start making pompoms! Yenny's pompoms and pouches are handmade with natural fibers and dyes native to the region.

Dario

sourcing support for flecos brillos

Dario is Yenny + Ruben's son. When I met Yenny she didn't have a phone that could receive international text messages. In order to stay in touch she gave me Dario's number.

Dario has been an amazing support to help facilitate shipments from Yenny.

He has also stepped in to take over pom'd flecos orders by sourcing, creating connections with local shop owners, and shipping.
